On March 11th, First Vice-Premier Andrey Klyuev presented Konstantin Efimenko, the newly appointed Minister to the staff of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine, the press service of the Ministry of Transport said.
"I am grateful to all the staff of the Ministry that in a difficult time for the country’s economy you have been working steadily and efficiently,” said Konstantin Efimenko, “I hope that in future we can work constructively to resolve both the current and long-term problems”.
According to Mr. Efimenko, the Ministry of Transport is facing currently serious challenges and problems. "First and foremost, we are talking about the development of highways of Ukraine, the preparations for Euro 2012. I am confident that we could adequately perform all the tasks that we have had, and become productive and efficient team of professionals ", he said.
On March 11, 2010 the Verkhovna Rada, the parliament of Ukraine adopted the decree "On the forming of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine". The Parliament members appointed Konstantin Efimenko the Minister of Transport and Communications of Ukraine.
