The growth in cargo turnover the Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group (NCSP) has seen in February 2010 turned out to be lower than the average for the sector, Finam IC reports citing the company’s analyst Konstantin Romanov.
The expert noted as the most important positive trends in January-February the increase in freight containers volumes due to higher imports to Russia. However, the NCSP has had a 1.2 percent cutback in liquid cargoes.
