URALCHEM’s first ammonium nitrate shipment to the UK

URALCHEM UCC OJSC announced it had successfully delivered the first shipment of stabilized ammonium nitrate to the UK, PortNews IAA reports citing the URALCHEM’s press service. Since last November the joint stock company has shipped to the European market some 100 tons of nitrogen fertilizers. Stabilized ammonium nitrate (azotofosfat NP 33:3) is a complex nitrogen-phosphorus fertilizer.

URALCHEM United Chemical Company is one of the largest producers of nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers in Russia and the CIS countries of production capacities of over 2.7 million tons of ammonium nitrate, 2 million tons of ammonia, 0.8 million tons of MAP&DAP, 0.8 million tons of compound fertilizers, 0.5 million tons of urea. URALCHEM OJSC is the first largest in Russia and the second world producer of ammonium nitrate.  URALCHEM’s portfolio of assets includes Kirov-Chepetsk Chemical Plant of B.P.Konstantinov OJSC (Kirov-Chepetsk, Kirov region), Azot (Nitrogen) OJSC (Berezniki, Perm region), Voskresensk Mineral Fertilizers OJSC, (in Voskresensk, Moscow region).
