Turnover of Vysotsk LUKOIL-II to drop by 21% compared to the same period in 2009 and to make up 1.6 million tons in Jan-Feb 2010

Turnover of RPK Vysotsk LUKOIL-II (Leningrad region) by 21% compared to the same period in 2009 and made up 1.6 million tons in January-February 2010. According to operative data, port of Vysotsk, including the volume of shipments of export petroleum products from terminal in February 2010 totaled 820 tons (282 tons - vacuum gas oil (VGO), 278 tons - diesel fuel, 260 tons – heavy fuel oil ). According to PortNews IAA, drop in turnover is caused by severe weather conditions, which increased the period required for oil processing at the terminal (oil products need to be heated for pumping). According to the forecast for March 2010 the monthly volume of oil products export from the terminal RPK Vysotsk LUKOIL-II could increase to 1.01 million tons. 
  
As PortNews IAA reported earlier, in January-December 2009 the volume of transshipment of oil products through the PKK Vysotsk LUKOIL-II totaled 13.9 million tones compared to 12.7 million tons in 2008. Terminal was designed to export 4.2 million tons of heavy fuel oil, 4.2 million tons of VGO, and 5.4 million tons of diesel fuel from RF. Petroleum products are produced in Russian territory at the enterprises of LUKOIL JSC. Marine Terminal PKK Vysotsk LUKOIL-II belongs to the largest private oil company in Russia, LUKOIL.
