Customs in Nakhodka to put into operation stationary inspection facilities in 2010

Customs in Nakhodka plans to put into operation a stationary inspection and examination facilities (IEF) in 2010. According to the Far Eastern Customs Authority (FECA), currently 6 mobile inspection and examination systems operate in the region of FECA responsibility, 2 of them are designed for maritime entry points and 4 for the road crossings.
 
 
Due to IEF without opening and unloading the cargo vehicle it is possible to get its scanned image and image of goods carried by it in 3-5 minutes. 29650 objects of control were examined with the use of IEF in 2009. This is the fourth part of the total number of objects of control, passing through the checkpoints, where IEF are stationed. 271 objects were sent to customs inspection was sent. Eventually, 178 cases of administrative and criminal violations were initiated. Effectiveness of IEF performance makes up 66%.
