Sovfracht will provide transportation of pipes for the Baltic Pipeline System 2 (BPS-2) and the main oil pipeline Eastern Siberia - Pacific Ocean-2 (ESPO-2) in the amount of about 80 thousand tons per month until July 2011. According to the press service of Sovfracht, a company participates in this project since February 2010.
Sovfracht signed a contract with suppliers of products - Volgsky and the Izhorsky Pipe Plant, Chelyabinsk Tube and Vykskunsk Metallurgical Works. For the effective implementation of the project company involves the necessary number of owned and rented cars. Specialized fleet of cars - pipe trucks in the amount of 1300 pieces- is also used.
At the present moment traffic volume reaches 50 thousand tons per month. By summer period increase in traffic to 80 tons is expected.
