At the beginning of last week, the difference between the average price for summer diesel fuel in the domestic market and its quotes relative to NWE was 1616 rub/tone in favor of the domestic market, and relative to Med - 2113 rub. / tone is also in favor of the domestic market. Sales of diesel fuel in the domestic market appeared to be more attractive than its exports.
Friday, March 19, Andrey Tsyganov, Deputy Head of FAS, said that the agency has sent to oil companies demand to justify higher prices for fuel in the first two weeks of March. According to him, in the European part of Russia for the first half of March the price for diesel fuel increased by 1000-1300 rub/tone , and in Siberia and the Far East - in the 1300-2000 rub/ tone.
According to CORTES, summer diesel fuel in the first two weeks of March in Russia has risen in price to 533 rub / tone or 3.4% in average. Over the last four weeks prices for summer diesel fuel in Russia have increased by 1.248 rub / tone or 8.1%.
