The average Russian import duties may fall to 10.15% this year

In 2010 the average Russian import duties may fall to 10.15%, the Russian Govt press service said, quoting Prime Minister Vladimir Putin speaking at a meeting of the Govt presidium. According to Mr. Puting, in 2008 the average import duties amounted to 11.5%, next year it decreased to 10.6%. This year, he said, the duties are expected to drop to 10.5 percent.
