South Korean rescuers find sunken ship near North Korea border

South Korean rescue team found a hull of Cheonan corvette, which sank on March 26 under circumstances still unclear near the border with North Korea (DPRK), Novosti RIA reports citing the AFP.
According to the Command of the Armed Forces in South Korea, the ship was found yesterday. The rescue team divers will reportedly take the survey of the ship hull.

An earlier report said the corvette Cheonan had sunk in the area of Baengnyeong island, controlled by Seoul after a large explosion on board of the ship. The blast reason has not been established yet. 58 crew members have been rescued, while other 46 people are reported missing.
