Federal State Unitary Enterprise RosMorPort has announced bidding for the state contract for the development of technical documentation and construction of 8 marine terminals at the sea port of Sochi (Imeretinka, Adler, Kurgorodok, Khosta, Matsesta, Dagomys, Loo, Lazarevskoe), RosMorPort statement said. The contract worth some 919 million rubles.
The general construction design and renovation of 8 terminals project was completed by InzhTransStroy Corporation LLC jointly with Marine Transportation Projects LLC, Institute IMIDIS CJSC (Study of Bridges and Other Engineering Structures), RosIntekKo LLC, Center for Vehicle Safety Systems LLC. The project includes construction of 3 new marine terminals in Imeretinka, Matsesta and Dagomys, as well as reconstruction of the 5 existing terminals in Adler, Kurgorodok, Khosta, Lazarevskoye and Loo.
The completion of the terminals was reportedly scheduled in the I quarter of 2013.
The project would restore passenger service along the Black Sea coast, to boost tourism development in the Krasnodar region, as well as improve transport network between coastal settlements. The infrastructure building is carried out in accordance with the Russian Govt’s Program of Olympic Objects and Development of Sochi as Mountain Resort (December 29, 2007 N 991).
