ACP awards POT “The Best Stevedoring Company in 2009”

Association of Commercial Seaports (ACP) has held in Smolny (the Govt. of St. Petersburg) in St. Petersburg the award ceremony to nominate the winners in "The Best Stevedoring Company in 2009” contest. This year Petersburg Oil Terminal (POT, St. Petersburg) turned to be the winner. On March 25th, the award and the jubilee badge "In memory of 200 years of Management of water and land communication” of the Russian Ministry of Transport were presented by ACP Executive Director Serik Zhusupov to General Director of the Terminal Igor Teleshev.

Association of Commercial Seaports (ACP), founded in 1987 unites more than 50 Russia’s organizations and enterprises of maritime transport. The ACP integrates commercial seaports, freight forwarding and agency companies, research institutes, educational institutions of maritime transport.

Petersburg Oil Terminal CJSC provides handling and storage services of light and dark oil products intended for export and bunkering vessels. The company produces high-quality analysis of petroleum products, accepts and processes the oily water from ships entering the port. Last year the volume of handled oil products increased by 2.5% as compared with the previous year, to 12.1 million tons.
