The portfolio of orders of Russian shipbuilding companies makes up 2 thousand ships and marine equipment worth 1.5 trillion rubles till 2020, RBC cites Igor Levitin, Minister of Transport. It has been previously reported that the Ministry of Transport of Russia in the first decade of March published a draft federal law "On measures of support of Russian shipbuilding and navigation, and Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Russia". According to Viktor Olerskiy, Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, by the end of March the bill will be introduced to the Government. Victor Olersky noted that the initiative of the Ministry of Transport is timely, and "there are substantial grounds to believe that it will be approved and adopted in the future of State Duma deputy."
