No more survivors from a sunk South Korean warship, a rescuer dies

Divers have not yet found another survivors from Cheonan ship that sank on March 26 under unclear circumstances near the border with North Korea,  China Radio International reports. One of the rescuers died during a rescue operation.

There are currently 16 warships of the South Korea Navy at the scene. More than 70 South Korean rescuers and 15 U.S. military divers are involved. According to local media, the rescue teams failed to get into the ship stern as the manholes had been greatly damaged.

Earlier reports said the corvette Cheonan had sank in the area of Baengnyeong island, controlled by Seoul as a result of an explosion on board. What was the reason of the blast is still unclear. At least 58 crew members survived, while 46 others are still reported missing.
