Freight turnover at Vladivostok Container Terminal (VCT JSC) in January-August of this year surged by 52,5% from the same period in 2009, to 186,592 TEUs, the stevedoring company said.
In August the terminal handled 26,575 TEUs, up 47.3% more than a year earlier and 2.35% more than in July 2010.
In the reporting period the terminal transshipped 9,447 TEUs of outbound containerized goods, 9,939 TEUs of inbound cargo and 7,189 TEUs of short sea trade.
