Crude oil exports via the port of Primorsk reaches 6.1m tons in Aug.

The volume of oil exports through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad region) totaled in August 2010 some 6.1 million tons of actually shipped raw material. There were 62 tankers of up to 150,000DWT called at the port of Primorsk this year. Rosneft JSC appeared to be the largest exporter of crude oil via the port of Primorsk in August, Primorsky Commercial Sea Port JSC statement says.

Seaport of Primorsk is the largest port for exported oil and petroleum products in the North-West region of Russia. In 2009 trade flows through the port totaled 79,157,200 tons of crude oil and diesel fuel. Last year, there were 1.869 calls (935 inbound and 934 outbound vessels).
