FAS OKs the takeover of 3 stevedoring companies by Sea Port St. Petersburg

Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS of Russia) has agreed to the petition filed by Sea Port of St. Petersburg, on the takeover of three closed joint stock companies: First Stevedoring Company, Second Stevedoring Company and Third Stevedoring Company, the FAS press service said.

PortNews has reported earlier that the Board of Directors of Sea Port of St. Petersburg had announced the takeover of the above companies the agenda of a special meeting of stockholders scheduled to be held on October 11, 2010.

First Stevedoring Company, Second Stevedoring Company and Third Stevedoring Company are included in the Group of companies Sea Port of St. Petersburg, which is part of the Universal Cargo Logistics Holding (UCL Holding).
