The large international naval exercise Northern Coasts 10 is to be carried through on the Baltic Sea between September 13 and September 24, 2010. The exercise is hosted by the Finnish Navy and during the week end before it started most of the vessels visited Turku.
In this two-week exercise there are some 4000 persons, 50 naval vessels, ten helicopters, one submarine and 25 aircrafts. The participators come from Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the United States.
