Shtokman Development AG, Murmansk Region to boost cooperation in transport and logistics infrastructure

Shtokman Development AG company implementing the project of the Shtokman field in the Barents Sea and Murmansk Region intend to expand cooperation in several areas, particularly in the use of transport and logistics infrastructure of the region, the Government of the Murmansk region’s press office said. The statement was made at the meeting of joint working groups focused on the organization of interaction between the regional government and the Shtokman Development AG. The meeting was held by local governor Dmitry Dmitrenko and the company’s CEO Alexei Zagorovskiy.

The parties noted that the work of joint teams is carried out according to the schedule. "Following the three-month work results, we can confidently say that this format has proved its effectiveness. In general, we are pleased with how our cooperation is making progress", Alexei Zagorovskiy said in his closing remarks. The two parties signed a bilateral protocol after the meeting.
 
The Switzerland -based Shtokman Development AG is a joint venture  established on February 15, 2008 for financing, design, construction and operation of the first phase Shtokman gas condensate field development. Shares of participation in the project were distributed as follows: Gazprom OJSC owns 51%, Total S.A. (France) - 25 % and Statoil ASA (Norway) - 24 %.
