A new ro-ro service is reported to start operating linking the ports of Istanbul Haydarpasa and Odessa (Ukraine) from 3 December, MedTrans reports.
The connection will be operated by the company Black Sea Express, a subsidiary of Medtrans Denizcilik Lojistik, which was founded in 2009. The service will initially offer two weekly departures, with frequencies due to be increased to four a week at a later date. The planned transit time is 24 hours, and drivers will travel by air.
