Net loss of Saint Petersburg Seaport totaled RUR 3.343 million in 9M06

Net loss of GC of the Sea Port of Saint Petersburg totaled RUR 3.343 million in January-September 2006, the company’s quarterly report reads. In the similar period of the previous year the company’s net profit totaled RUR 7.471 million.

Sea Port of Saint Petersburg OJSC (Morport SPb) is the largest stevedoring company of the port of Saint Petersburg. The shareholders of the company are structures representing Novolipetsk Integrated Iron and Steel Works OJSC (NLMK). Morport SPb is the company managing a group of stevedoring companies: First Stevedoring Company CJSC, Second Stevedoring Company CJSC, Forth Stevedoring Company CJSC and a number of service companies. The Group’s share in cargo turnover of the Big Port was 22% over the first 6 months of 2006.
