OOCL, Yang Ming re-arrange China-Pakistan CPX into two services

Hong Kong's OOCL and Yang Ming will soon re-organise the China Pakistan Express (CPX) service into two weekly strings called the China Pakistan Express and the China India Express (CIX2), reports Alphaliner.
The first CPX sailing departs Shanghai on March 18 and the first CPX ship sails March 21. The new arrangement involves direct calls at Mundra and a faster transit time to Nhava Sheva in addition to existing Karachi and Pipavav calls.
The new CPX will run with five ships in the 2,900-TEU range while the CIX will be have five ships of about 2,100 TEU. Today's CPX is operated by five 3,500- to 4,500 TEU ships.
