Containerships announced it had to hike the amount of the Winter Surcharge due to unfavorable weather condition and increased operational costs in the bay of St. Petersburg, the company’s press release said.
The new St. Pb Winter Surcharge is to be increased to € 100 per TEU effective from March 7, 2011. The company’s current Winter Surcharge applied since Dec. 1st, 2010 was € 50 per TEU.
