54 vessels await icebreaker assistance in the Gulf of Finland

According to the Port Authority of Big Port St. Petersburg there have been 54 cargo ships waiting for icebreakers assistance. Overall, there are 82 vessels in the water area, four of them – in motion. Only six merchant ships that are now located at the ports are subject to ice restrictions.
