Kaliningrad officials promote Balga deep-water port project

Kaliningrad authorities have been in talks with a potential investor in the project of a deepwater port on the Balga, the regional administration press service said. The issue was discussed yesterday at a meeting of local governor Nikolai Tsukanov and Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin.

"We have set a date. We’ve been negotiating with a potential investor. The project design work will begin soon," said Kaliningrad Region Governor Nikolay Tsukanov.
