Erria’s group comprehensive income amounted to a deficit of 62.1m kroner in 2010, compared to a deficit of 155.6m kroner in 2009, Maritimedanmark reports. Revenue rose from 66.8m kroner in 2009, to 76.4m kroner in 2010.
Three of the four main business areas, Consulting, Ship Management and Commercial Management had a positive result of 18m kroner, while the business area Shipowning had a difficult year.
At year-end, the Company had 73 employees in the offices in Denmark and abroad approximately 500 seamen.
2011 will be a difficult year, however the Company expects a significant improvement in the comprehensive income compared with 2010, but remained negative for the whole year.
The improvement is not expected to come until in late 2011. With the current market situation it is not expected to be possible to achieve gains on the sale of vessels.
Particular uncertainties relate to movements in rates, the USD rate and oil prices.
