Three ice breaking supply vessels (IBSV) of Primorje Shipping Company, built in Norway for operation of at Sakhalin shelf, have been transferred to the Russian flag, ITAR-TASS reports. Russian flag has been raised in Singapore today at the Pacific Enterprise ship – the last of the three ice breaking supply vessels. In September it left Norwegian shipyard Akerlansten and currently it is on the way to its home port of Kholmsk (Sakhalin). Earlier, Russian flags were raised in Singapore at the other two IBSV - Pacific Endeavor and Pacific Endurance. All the three vessels were tested in the Arctic Ocean. The icebreakers managed to break 2-meter thick ice despite their small size (length – 92 meters, capacity – 3.7 thou tons). The ice breaking supply vessels serve offshore platforms Molikpak, LUN-А and PА-B".
