A South Korean company is to invest 370 million € in Algeciras. Hanjin Shipping is to build and run a new terminal in Algeciras Port, and the project was explained on Monday this week to two important visitors, Gaspar Zarrías, the Vice President of the Junta de Andalucía, and Cho Taeyul, the South Korean Ambassador in Spain.
Zarrías described the project as the most outstanding private project to take place in Andalucía in recent years. He said the new terminal would be in use by 2010 and 450 jobs would be created.
