Vitino has links with the central part of Russia as well as with the Black, Caspian, Azov and Baltic Seas by both external and internal waterways. Within the water area of the seaport Vitino there are four berths, one of which is deep-water and designed for reception of sea tankers, and three berths are for reception of such vessels as ore-oil carriers. One of the berths is used for the Port fleet. The harbor approach is provided with the navigable channel 18 miles long with depths not less than 12.5 meters from LAT (Lowest Astronomical Tide) and the height of tide up to 3 meters.
