Exports of diesel fuel via Primorsk grows 18% to 2,45 million tons
Exports of diesel fuel through the port of Primorsk (Leningrad Oblast) in January-May increased by 18% from a year earlier to 2 million 458.9 thousand tons, the Port Authority said. In May, the volume of diesel fuel shipped through the Primorsk Oil Terminal dropped 11% to 446,800 tons.
Primorsky Trade Port (PTP) is Russia’s premier port in the country’s North-West region for exports of oil and petroleum products. The Primorsk Oil Terminal is the terminus of the Baltic Pipeline System (BPS) and main pipelines Kstovo-Yaroslavl-Kirishi-Primorsk (North Project) and JSC Transnefteproduct. In 2010, Primorsk Oil Terminal handled 77,540,300 million tons of exported crude oil, a 2-percent decline year-over-year.
