Gazprom Neft establishes major subsidiary
Gazprom Neft has registered in the Novosibirsk region a largest subsidiary - Gazpromneft-Terminal, the Novosibirsk Administration’s press service reported. The company will be engaged in transshipment of petroleum products and reconstruction of Gazprom Neft’s oil depots throughout Russia.
"This is a significant event, it will give additional tax proceeds to the regional budget," the head of the region Vasily Yurchenko said.
Mr. Yurchenko also noted that the registration of companies in the Novosibirsk region "confirms that this is a place with good infrastructure for the headquarters of major companies."
In the near future Gazprom Neft Group’s oil depots in Central Asia and Serbia will join Gazpromneft-Terminal, the company’s head Andrei Shimkiv told Interfax news agency.
