SovFracht-Sovmortrans delivers equipment units for VankorNeft
SovFraht-Sovmortrans has completed transportation of two slugcatchers to Vankor oil and gas field, the Group’s press release said.
A team of the Group’s shipping division, Sovfracht Shipping delivered the equipment to the field from the river port of Dzerzhinsk. Overall dimension of each slugcatcher is 24,820 mm x 6,100 mm x 6200 mm, weight - 200.5 tons. The Customer – CJSC Vankorneft
The equipment was loaded onto a river-sea going vessel on 16 May 2011. Nearly that date the second floating crane headed from Krasnoyarsk for Dudinka. The cargo was carried via the White Sea-Baltic Sea Canal to the port of Murmansk. The two units were transshipped by two floating cranes to the ice-class Ivan Papanin owned by Murmansk Shipping, which made for Dudinka on June 4. Upon arrival at the port the cargo was loaded onto a shallow-draft river barge, which arrived at Vankor field on June 17.
