CSCL announces hike rates across the board

China Shipping Container Lines filed it will raise its box charges at the beginning of July, Seatrade Asia reports.

Charges for routes between Asia and the Middle East will be raised by US$200 per TEU and $400 per FEU on July 1. Fuel surcharges to the eastern United States will be raised to US$1107 per FEU from US$879 per FEU, with an additional peak season surcharge of US$400/FEU on July 1. The fuel surcharge to America’s west coast will be raised to US$568 per FEU from US$468 per FEU with an additional peak season surcharge of US$400 per FEU.
