The first seaway of the line between Russia, China, Japan and South Korea will be opened on October 24, as “Interfax” reports referring on Chinese mass media. New route will extend on 800 nautical miles (1 thousand 482.6 km). Seaway will connect port Zarubino in Primorsky Territory, Chinese city Hueichun in the province Jilin, Japanese port Niigata and South Korean Sokcho. Today to deliver to Japan goods produced in China they are transported overland to port Dalian and then to Niigata. This way takes 12 days. After the seaway is open, this time will decrease to one and half of a day. Russia, China, Japan and Korea are going to create joint business to manage the route.
