Transpetro has confirmed a $536m order for eight LPG carriers with STX OSV, Seatrade Asia reports.
Singapore-listed STX OSV said the contract original signed last July had now been made effective and had not been included in the shipbuilder’s orderbook up till this point.
The vessels will be built at STX OSV’s new yard being constructed in Suape, Brazil and due for delivery between 2014 and 2016.
