Delta Shipping hikes BFA

Delta Shipping Lines (DSL), a private short sea container line operator has announced  it had to raise Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) due to the developments of the fuel prices, the Company said Monday.

BAF will be increased to EUR 184/TEU which will be applicable for all containers shipped to St.Petersburg as from December, 1st 2011 (B/L date), DSL press release said.


Delta Shipping Lines (DSL) is an independent privately owned short sea container line, which was founded in 2004. DSL is focused on the door-door and quay-quay container shipments to/ from Russia, using its modern ice classed vessels and a wide variety of different container types. The total container fleet owned by Delta Shipping exceeds 3500 units, incuding 20' and 40' standard, high cube pallet wide and reefer containers.
