Klaipeda remains No 1 Baltic port

Klaipeda remained the number one seaport in the Baltic countries in terms of container handling in the first 10 months of this year, reported Baltic Business Daily.
TEU traffic in Klaipeda rose by 34.4 percent, year-on-year, to 324,700 units in January through October, the port’s authority said.
Year-on-year, TEU traffic in Riga rose by 20.2 percent, to 252,100 units; in Tallinn by 29 percent, to 163,800 units; and in Liepaja, by 91 percent, to 2,700 units.
