Sea-Alliance launches shipyard management service
The Sea-Alliance Group announced today the addition of a new quality control service for international shipyards. The new service is intended to meet a growing demand for independent project managers for new build and refit work, according to the company, Boatingindustry reports.
“Traditionally we have always worked as representatives of the clients but recently we started to get good feedback from the yards where we have managed projects, and yard representatives have begun to realize the benefit of a comprehensive project management service,” said Pino di Mora, technical services manager at Sea-Alliance Group.
The new service will be provided by the company’s technical services team and will give shipyard directors an independent quality control management service to improve communication and organization with the yacht owner’s team.
According to the company, the new service will also save shipyards money by reducing costly changes and errors, reducing warranty work as well as connecting the company with contractors, suppliers and new construction methods through Sea-Alliance Group’s worldwide connections.
