Checkpoints of southern ports equipped with infrared scanners
Federal agency Rosgranstroy has equipped 11 checkpoints in the Bryansk and Rostov regions, infrared scanners to detect people having elevated body temperatures, the agency press office said.
In particular, marine border crossing points in the ports of Azov, Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog now have such equipment installed.
The equipment is designed for sanitary and quarantine control at the checkpoints of the Russian-Ukrainian border area: it will help detect persons who may be suffering dangerous diseases, and who may require further examination or medical care. The equipment installation is implemented in accordance with standard requirements of Rospotrebnadzor for this kind of control points, including, those located at the external borders of the Customs Union.
