Hutchison completes construction of Huizhou berth
Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa and Huizhou Port Affairs Group have completed the construction of their first container berth at Huizhou Port, reported China Business Newswire.
The berth will enter trial operation by the beginning of next year.
Hutchison Whampoa and Huizhou Port Affairs plan to invest a total of US$309 million to build two 50,000-tonne container berths in Quanwan, Huizhou Port. The construction of the second berth is expected to be completed by October 2012.
