Two cargo ships stranded, one sinks off Sumatra, 18 missing

Two Indonesian cargo ships, the KM Harmonii Roro and the km Sinar Banjar ran aground in the Indian Ocean. Another vessel the KM Serunting sank off the coast of the province Benkulu on the island of Sumatra, the 18 crew members are reported unaccounted for, RIA Novosti reports citing the local media.

The local Coast Guard team has started search and rescue operation, the report said.
