ZNT Yard lays down river navaids tender for Rechvodput

Nizhny Novgorod-based ZNT Yard (ZNT) today, March 15, laid the keel of a Navaids Tender of BLV02 project. The contract for two BLV02 boats was signed on December 21, 2011 between the Customers – state-owned RechVodPut and ZNT Yard, the shipbuilding firm said. ZNT Yard is to execute the contract within 675 days.


The river navaids tender is intended for monitoring the status of the fairway on the inland waterways and port areas, maintenance of different navigational markers, buoys, day beacons and their replacement. The vessel has mixed rive-sea sailing class to operate on inland waterways and open sea. The design enables operation in rough seas with a swell of up to 3.50 m.


The boat was designed by Marine Engineering Bureau, approved by Russian River Register and Rospotrebnadzor and by the Customer.
