Severnaya Shipyard to launch corvette Stoikiy for Defense Ministry on May 30
Severnaya Verf Shipyard has scheduled for May 30, 2012 a launching ceremony for the third serial corvette Stoikiy of 20380 project, the shipbuilding company said.
Within six months the ship will be completed in the outfitting dock, on January 2013 the warship will start mooring, then the shipyard’s and state sea trials. Upon completion of testing in November 2013, the Stoikiy will be delivered to the Customer, the Ministry of Defense.
The 20380 project corvette was developed by the Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau.
The shipbuilding company is executing the newebuilds contract in accordance with the schedule approved by the Ministry of Defense.
