Ventspils port handled 11.9 million tons of oil products in 9M06

In the 9-month period of 2006 Ventspils port handled 75.5% of all oil products handled in Latvian ports – 11.886 million tons (-8.1% against year-on-year result), RZD-Partner reports. The second result was demonstrated by Riga – 3.624 million tons (+46.2%). The third port is that of Liepaja – it handled 596.8 thou tons (+86.3%, year-on-year). All Latvian ports handled 45.303 million tons of cargo.
