Rosmortrans Group of Companies (ports of Azov-Don basin) has started construction of coastal facilities under project of Temryuk bunkering complex in the port of Temryuk (Kerch strait), Vladimir Sergejev, Rosmortrans Development Director told at the III Annual International Forum of Fuel Trade and Bunkering. The Group started construction of Temryuk bunkering complex in 2005. We have carried out land surveying and allotment so we start active construction phase, Sergejev says. According to him, construction works may take at least 2 years.
Temryuk bunkering complex is designed for accepting and storing of light oil products for bunkering of river and sea going vessels. Tank farm capacity is 22 thou tons (7 reservoirs). Estimated throughput of the complex is to reach 200 thou tons of oil products per year including 120 thou tons of marine bunker fuel, 80 thou tons of light fuel. The complex will handle Lenaneft-type vessels with length of 122.75 m, width of 15.3 m, loaded draft – 3.56 m, deadweight - 3100 tons.
Oil products are to be delivered to the bunkering complex by railway and dispatched by sea transport.

Temryuk Commercial Seaport is located at Taman coast of the Sea of Azov. Total length of the port’s berths is 1200 running meters. Major type of cargo handled at the port is the general cargo: round timber, timber materials, metal, as well as out-of-gage load and food staffs. Dredging works carried out from 1996, has almost finalized for the moment being at the approach canal, and the port is able to accept river-sea type vessels with up to 5000 tons displacement.
