Cargo turnover of Odessa region seaports down 1.3% in 10M06

Cargo turnover of Odessa region seaports totaled 69.6 million tons in January-October 2006 (-1.3% against year-on-year result), RBC Ukraine reports. Over the reported period the ports handled 32.4 million tons of export cargo (-7.2% against year-on-year result), 6.4 million tons of import cargo (+17.5%), 30.4 million tons of transit cargo (+2.5%). Odessa Commercial Seaport transshipped 23.6 million tons of cargo (+4.1%), Yuzhny port – 17.2 million tons (+1.2%), Iljichevsk port – 12.5 million tons (+2%), Izmail port – 5.5 million tons (+0.8%).
