Bach Dang Shipyard, a subsidiary of the Viet Nam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, launched a 10,500 tonne cargo ship on Sunday from the port city of Hai Phong.
The vessel’s new owner, NOMA Marine Transport Company, christened the ship Sun Spirits. The boat is 110 metres long and 18.8 metres wide, and was the second constructed by Bach Dang Shipyard for NOMA. On the same day, Bach Dang Shipyard began construction of a 22,500 tonne vessel for the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines. Bach Dang Shipyard is contracted to construct eight vessels for the Viet Nam National Shipping Lines.
