Kazakhstan Senate ratifies Agreement on Russian –Kazakh cooperation in field of maritime transport
The Senate of Kazakhstan Republic adopted the Law “On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Russia on cooperation in the field of maritime transport, Kazinform reports.
The Agreement was signed on October 4, 2007 in Novosibirsk. Its main purposes are regulation and development of interaction between Kazakhstan and Russia in the field of cooperation in maritime transport.
The ratification of the Agreement will allow to provide legislative bases for effective use of maritime trade fleet and harbours of both counties and provide maritime security and marine environment protection.
