After a partnership lasting more than two years, Dachser has acquired a 10% share in Spanish logistics provider, Azkar.
Launched in December 2006, the co-operation between Dachser and Azkar has developed to such a positive degree that the managements of both companies decided to set their business relations on a more stable footing.
Founded in 1933, Azkar specialises in full-coverage Spanish and international groupage services and contract logistics, and is the market leader in the Iberian Peninsula.
The company's network comprises 73 own branches in Spain and Portugal, which generated sales worth around €400 million in 2008.
