Load and revenues of Klaipedos Nafta decreased in January-May 2009

The state oil products terminal and load company Klaipedos Nafta loaded 3.081 million tones of oil in January-May 2009 and earned revenues of 46.2 million litas (13.32 million euros), respectively 16.5% and 14% less year-on-year.

 

In May alone, 694,700 tones of oil were loaded, and revenues totalled 10.1 million litas (2.9 million euros), respectively 8% and 4.7% less compared to May 2008, informs ELTA/LETA.

 

According to pre-audited data, Klaipedos Nafta earned a pre-tax profit of 9.6 million litas (2.8 euros) in Q1 this year. This year, Klaipedos Nafta plans to load 7.1 million tones of oil products, almost 14% less than in 2008.

 

The company intends to earn a pre-tax profit of 11.9 million litas (3.43 million euros), 2.8 times less compared to last year.
