“We have determined 10 sites for storing and transshipment of cargo which enabled us to give up the idea of building the second seaport and save RUR 8.5 bln of budget resources,” he told ITAR TASS.
According to him “it is to decrease environmental pressure on coastal area and to use free territories for construction of residential areas and hotels.”
As it was reported earlier, the first vessel entered the port being built in Imeretinskaya Bay (port Big Sochi) on June 3.
